M613 comes from Mark 6:13 where Jesus sent out His disciples and they "anointed many sick people with oil and healed them." (NIV)

 

Essential oils have been around since Biblical times. There are numerous references in the Bible to oils. My personal journey with essential  oils did not begin because I thought it was biblical. I started using them because nothing else was working, and I figured it couldn't hurt to try them. However, as I have learned more about them, I realized that God created plants with these amazing healing properties. I decided that it makes more sense for me to try something natural and God-made before trying something synthetic and man-made. Not to mention the list of side effects on essential oils are virtually non-existant verses the pages of side effects we are given with prescription medications.

 

I encourage you to do your own research on essential oils and the benefits to using them. Not only are they a great to use for illness, but they can also be used to regulate moods, help you sleep, and clean your house. The uses are endless! It's a great way to substitute some or all of the checmicals in your home from medications to beauty and cleaning products.
